Many of our children in school are currently taking part in Ramadan traditions. On Monday morning, we were very lucky to have Dr Raeda Albannai (Abdullah’s mother) to lead an assembly and to share their experiences.
Dr Albannai explained the special place Ramadan holds in the life of Muslims and how they practice the 5 pillars of Islam.
Abdullah shared with us one of his stories called “It’s Ramadan, Curious George” by H.A. Rey. We are always very impressed with the confidence of our pupils when faced with an audience. Well done, Abdullah!
A special thank you to Dr Raeda Albannai for delivering this wonderful assembly!
